When sufficiently disappointment
And we come to a conclusion
Conclusion that we cannot take it anymore
We have made statements
Statements that felt therapeutic
Yet when we sit self down in a meeting
We realise the pain overtook the tongue
And ranted verbal diarrhoea
In anger, you can say you owe no one anything
That you don’t care what other people think of you
But we all know who is lying to whom
Is it true that you owe no one nothing?
You owe us self-respect,
You tarnish our name when you spend time in the wrong place
Or make a fool of yourself
You owe us good performance at work,
Remember, we wrote you a beautiful recommendation letter,
Our character is in the line because of you,
If you end up work-shy and a poor team player,
We are made liars and can have trouble obtaining our certifications of good conduct,
You owe us fair taxes,
We can’t shoulder the burden of taking care of your tax burden as long as public goods remain non-excludable and non-rival,
Did we just introduce you to one of our friends to help you graduate from singlehood?
How, then, can you not owe us reliability?
We told them all the good things we know about you and made them feel you are the best thing that ever happened to them,
But we all know better how boring and stubborn you can be… Let me not say much, or else I will mess you up!
As you go around through this hard school life,
Don’t forget that we owe each other something
We owe each other civility and good mannerisms,
We owe each other respect and a good name,
We owe each other safety from self-harm and threats,
We are all woven together in the great web of humanity,
How can God not hold us responsible for our influence upon others?
You don’t live to yourself, and neither do I,
If I spoil things and cause tough times, I mess more than my neck and backbone,
Someone else must exercise time and the strength of mind, muscle, and bone to deal with the negative externality,
We owe each other something!

I owe me a life that’s appreciated as worthy being lived, by others.
Great piece K’owili

I’m reminded of a quote- ‘every person who will get to heaven will take at least one person with them, same to those who’ll sadly go to destruction…’ As a Christian, I owe people a Christ-like character.
This is profound 💯. I’m blessed!

Still looking up for friends who will make me graduate from single-hood😂😂—then say I owe them reliability
It’s a blessing from God how you are so keen to look around and farm insights from Heaven. Continue writing with power, you owe us content😂😂
We all owe a healthy lifestyle to our families, to the world, and to Christ who us gives the ability to will and to do.

Indeed we owe each other because of the simple fact that we are one big family of God. Nobody is an island. For me as a parent my children look up to me…
