When we choose the pleasurable but forbidden ephemerals and follies,
When we choose to ride in the sledge pulled to the path of death eternal and irreversible,
When we refuse the only way to the throne of God,
When we deny the only power that can afford us perfect childhood, a faultless manhood, a holy ministry, and an unblemished sacrifice,
When we rush in hot pursuit after things temporal and transient as if there was no Heaven and a Hereafter,
When we turn our back to the pleadings of love and cut our final chain links with heaven,
When we crucify your Son afresh by well stood arounded sins,
When we despise your Ministers and persecute your Apostles,
When we choose to serve the enemy of man’s soul even in ignorance,
When we openly and with a death bound obstinacy cling to our demons…,
